Some of the smallest weddings out there make the biggest impact. This lovely bride came to me to design and create her Save the Dates for a total of twelve guests!
This gave me so much room to really pay attention to all the small details. Options that wouldn’t typically be available for a large event.
Story
A huge aspect of any wedding invitation or stationery is the texture. Whether that is a thick card stock or smooth vellum, engraved gold foil or raised lettering, how it feels in a guests hands makes an immediate impression for the rest of the event.
Hannah came to me looking for something that would show her guests the aesthetic she was aiming to achieve during the whole night. We knew she was going to have a succulent bouquet, an outdoor venue in the heart of downtown, and lots of natural light! Fortunately I had some specific vision to create a perfect card.
I wanted to keep it clean and simple with a lot of brightness. This layer of vellum on top of a thick, textured cardstock created just the depth and airiness I had in mind. The succulent accents were all handstamped in a variety of natural green shades to keep on theme with colors. I even had the chance to pull out my trusty typewriter for the couples names! All together these blew Hannah away and left all of her invitees ready for a magical and intimate night.
